Scientific Activities
In order to stimulate students’ interest in loving, learning and using science since their childhood, strengthen the construction of science curriculum, enrich students' scientific experience, and build a bridge from primary school education to middle school education, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department of the east campus held an experimental activity of ‘Childlike Innocence into Science, Experiencing Flying Dreams’ to let the sixth grade pupils walk into the middle school physics and chemistry laboratories, and experience the magic and interesting chemistry experiments.
Specifically, there was a lively scene in class. The teachers interacted closely with the children and guided them to experience the magical science experiments up close. In addition, the wonderful experimental performance made the students marveled at the magic of scientific magic and attracted by the infinite charm of science, which stimulated their interest in science. Therefore, the students were full of enthusiasm and eager to try.
In summary, the joyful experience of this scientific experiment was guided by the educational philosophy of ‘learning by doing’, which motivated the enthusiasm of students to use their brains, cultivated the scientific spirit of students' active innovation and thinking, and guided students to fully experience the fun of learning science. On the other hand, it is a good way for students to build up their yearning for learning subjects in middle schools. In the meantime, the students spent a happy and meaningful time in scientific activities.
